The flight scheduling was very well structured, and the type/location of accommodation allowed easy access to the historic parts of the towns and cities we visited. The transportation (minibus, train) on land was seamless, and the inclusion of strange things (we requested) like inclined buildings, quarries and volcanoes was much appreciated! All in all, we continue to be impressed with World Travel Design.

Absolutely no hesitation in recommending World Travel Design/Katrina. Looking for a break from Melbourne that didn’t involve long-haul flights, Katrina suggested the beautiful (and unknown to us) island of Sumba (an hour’s flight east of Bali). She booked our return flights Melbourne/Bali, connecting flights to Sumba, and the most stunning hotel - Cap Karoso, which is about as good as anywhere we have ever stayed. This was one of those rare trips when things went wrong - our Bali hotel messed up our booking and our Sumba flight was cancelled. Katrina scrambled to find solutions, arranging alternative hotels, a driver, and rescheduling flights. She even extended our stay at Cap Karoso at no extra cost and rearranged our Bali hotel on our return. The mark of a good company is how they handle adversity - Katrina was superb, reassuring us at every step and finding alternatives that matched our needs. Friends and family have since used World Travel Design, and we will continue to book with them, knowing Katrina will take care of us.

Our overseas holiday ran smoothly thanks to Katrina's knowledge and attention to detail in planning and arranging all aspects of the holiday. Katrina even organised alternate travel arrangements - in the middle of the night - when a nationwide train strike in Portugal threatened to derail our holiday plans. Katrina also checked us in for a flight when a power outage in Spain, Portugal and south-west France left us without any internet access.

All arrangements went very well. The Capital Kempinski Hotel in Singapore was a standout - a 5 star hotel that lives up to expectations and even exceeds them. Katrina is a great travel agent. She has been very efficient in booking our flights over the years, advising on itineraries and visas etc. Two highlights standout - our trip to Africa for safaris in 2016 was impeccably planned with seamless connections between countries and camps and all the places we stayed were fantastic. The second highlight was when our flight from Warsaw to Riga was cancelled at the last minute. I emailed Katrina from the airport and she managed to book us on a flight later in the day with minimal fuss.
