Since 2016, African Expert has proudly supported The Otis Foundation, an Australian charity that provides free retreat accommodation for individuals and families navigating the challenges of breast cancer.
What began as a simple wish to give back through travel has grown into something truly meaningful. Each year, Katrina donates luxury African safaris and holidays to be auctioned at the annual Otis Ball, raising vital funds to support the Foundation’s mission of offering time, space, and healing to those who need it most.

In 2024, Katrina donated an African safari featuring luxury accommodation in Nairobi and at Mahali Mzuri in Kenya’s Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
The experience raised $11,000 AUD and helped fund more stays for those facing breast cancer.
